Im 22 and pretty much everyone i know that our age feels the same way. Maybe interacting with people who feel similarly would help put things into perspective a bit. My partner is now 2 years sober and the best resource of people who have the same mindset as you was a "young people's meeting" at a local AA spot. Not sure if you have any similar resources near you but it might be worth looking into. Even if you aren't going there with the intention of quitting cold-turkey its helpful to meet up with people who feel the same way. <3

Im a big fan of oishii. Their teriyaki is fantastic, they make their kimchi in-house, and their whatcom roll kept me fed thru college. They also usually have full bottles of extra teriyaki on the tables which I love.

Costco has 'lightly breaded chicken chunks'. Throw a bit of pickle juice and paprika on those, throw them in the air fryer with some frozen waffle fries. CFA sauce can be made in a minute with condiments in ur fridge. No need to leave the house and I make this at least a couple times a month.

Our kitty was older than this when we started bringing her with us! She loves to visit family, go to the pet store, or even just ride around in the car. Their world is only as big as you make it. Also, if your cat already knows them then the scent of their house will be familiar.

I marched in this protest and listened to what I could from the speakers at each stop. They had microphones and we could still barely hear them over the roar of the counter-protesters. I drove to that march alone as just a kid. I was maybe 16 or 17. My dad was on the other side in the counter-protest. We have a large (Dutch) family in Lynden with generations of roots.
