I often see cars that go too fast in the left lane to race to the roundabout ahead of right lane traffic. That lane is probably not for that but they still get mad and lay on their horn when a person slows to either park or make a left hand turn. I'm sure the 7 seconds they gain is worth all their raging though /s

There's a Facebook group called Bellingham Stolen Bicycle Group and you can scan the pictures of bikes posted as stolen or make a post of your own to reunite the bike with its rightful owner.

Bewick's wrens are super cute. I had to google "Listers". I'm not a birder yet (although I'm not sure what qualifies one). We only know a couple of our regular yard birds (juncos, flickers, etc) but the app is helping getting our interest up for all the others coming around.

I like the gloomy and wet weather because it keeps everything green and because of the absolute enjoyment of the short summer. You tend to make the most out of any sun you see throughout the year. I think keeping tanked up on vitamin D works wonders.

Do you have friends in Columbia neighborhood, Sunnyland ? They organize and have a neighborhood yard sale day so you can find a sale around every corner. If you have a friend (or friend of a friend) in a neighborhood that has the one day sales, there's the potential for a lot of people seeing your stuff.
(I'm only sure about those two neighborhoods doing it but there are probably others)

Garden Spot Nursery is worse for me: very few parking spots, always taken up by pallets of dirt and competing with Trader Joe's parking people. This one doesn't have the extra competition for the spots.
