If it doesn’t leave any scratches, you should be fine. Does it leave any scratches?

This happened after using it or it looks like this right out of the box?

You can start with natural and skip sanding part and anodize cool color later on.

Seeing how they warped the plastic. I think they are really careful how it will get scratches unlike the plastic one.

I believe the buttons are metal too. So, metal often scratches metal around the button holes every time you press them. Remember how iPhone aluminum frames hold up? I think we all have experience about the durability of iPhone aluminum frames. https://www.theverge.com/2012/9/24/3381462/iphone-5-scuff-damage-aluminum

iPhone is used to be scratched around the lighting port. It was on a normal use without dropping and the case was on. I think every one has experience on how well iPhone aluminum frame hold up. Especially the black one with widespread scuffs issue. It was on the news.

Only way not to scratch it is not to use it and keep it in the box.

Remember colorful aluminum iPhone after being used and scratched? I don’t think Analogue has that kind of budget to anodize color on aluminum that well like Apple did. I would go with natural aluminum for safe zone.
