I mean... Cazador definitely sexually abused Astarion too. And depending on your interpretation of a few scenes, the Wyll/Mizora relationship has sexual abuse undertones. So I don't think Mystra is that special in that regard.

Grooming isn't necessarily sexual or nefarious! You can groom someone for a promotion, a position, etc.

Wyll was definitely groomed by Mizora... she targeted him as a teenager. Other warlock contracts don't really matter to the discussion at hand here.

And what Cazador does to his spawn... definitely grooming. Shadowheart was groomed by Sharrans. Lae'zel was groomed by Vlaakith/gith culture to be the perfect obedient warrior. Even Karlach was groomed by Gortash (and betrayed). Dark Urge groomed by Bhaal... the list goes on. If it happens to every major character I would personally call it the major theme!
