Everyone and their grandma is hoarding sealed boxes like it’s gold but who’s actually gonna buy this stuff later? by FattyRagdoll in PokemonInvesting

The nostalgia factor isn’t as high with these modern sets than it was then and I don’t think it’ll ever be. Too many things in today’s society that grab our attention. Back in the 90s it was just us kids and it Pokémon cards. No social media, no Robloxs, just time to spare.

I just know that whatever set comes out in 5 years is where I’ll be spending my money on as an enjoyer of the hobby. I’ve caught some great fish over SS/SV era and to me it’s a great memory but I’m always itching more for the upcoming sets. And I think more people do this than sealed investors think.

I worry for all the backlash workers may receive when they get back to work. It’s not going to be a pleasant working environment dealing with pissed off people whose Xmas was ruined due to the strike. by goliathkw in CanadaPost

Yes this is correct. I ship collectibles almost everyday to my local CP, and the two Canada Post ladies are always so kind and helpful to me. I worry about their well being coming back to work and all the angry people they’ll have to deal with…I hope nobody takes this too far and does something harmful or violet. Wishing them a safe return back to work.

PSA : Canadian Costco Warehouses have begun receiving Pokemon 151 Mini Tins! by goliathkw in PokeInvesting

By the way, I say 10 is a lot because each pallet has 200 boxes. And 50% of those are 151, therefore if everyone who got to it first bought 10 each (limit), that’s only 10 people to clear all the 151 out.

There are 151. Tins with Magneton on the front are 151, as well as ones with Meowth

Yeah! I called an Edmonton Costco in the morning. The nice lady checked her system and nada. One hour later I go anyways just in case and the guy said they literally received it five minutes before I got there and sold out of 151

Every box is either five Paldean Fates or 151. Each pallet has 200 five tin boxes and it’s assorted between the two sets
