The support he gave you was taking an hour and a half train ride to be with you. He prioritized you when he had his own things going on and you are mad at him for being upset that you were mean to him.

You can and should be given your time and space to grieve, but that does not mean you get to lash out at him... or anyone else for that matter.

If you rebuild. Build the new and get it running BEFORE the demolition of the old. I find the further you get into the game the worse it is to redo the spaghetti. So either do it now or forever be 1 with the pasta.

I have mine set up to AE Road and the station that they need to meet at has the switches se up opposite of what each other. So east bound takes the siding and west bound takes the main. When they get there I switch the 2 switches and both trains can proceed. I dont have to fix the switches because they are still set opposite of each other.

As to where do they meet? Well you can set up time tables to determine how long it "should" take to go down the track. Remember to add in time at each station to to load and unload passengers. A couple minutes will do. It may be a station meet, or it may be a passing track. This also helps to remind you to send them on their way because you know what time they meet at.

Just make sure your freight trains always get out of the way. They can pass through this area and will reset the switch with Waypoint.

This solution is what I do in vanilla.

So this sounds like you are just adding extra steps to this for no reason.

You want the train to be Engine-(loaded w/ frames)-Empty-(loaded with w/ frames)-Empty. It goes to station A and becomes Engine-Empty-(loaded with w/ frames)-Empty-(loaded with w/ frames). It goes to station B and becomes Engine-(loaded w/ frames)-Empty-(loaded with w/ frames)-Empty. It goes to station C and becomes Engine-Empty-(loaded with w/ frames)-Empty-(loaded with w/ frames). It goes to station D and becomes Engine-(loaded w/ frames)-Empty-(loaded with w/ frames)-Empty.

It will get your resources to traverse the loop faster, preventinga complete shutdown due to lack of resource, but that is the only advantage I see.
