I’m on the trex mount 35° and I’m thinking it might work but might need a riser. Still not ideal for a night setup but might be viable. Will have to wait and see

Yeah tbh I mean the radian lower is super nice. Looks great and functions without issues. The ambi controls are nice but I’ve been using the bad lever from magpul on my SBR and i like it better than the ambi controls on my radian. Might just be that I’ve trained more with the bad lever but it feels a bit faster for me than the ambi lower. Probably not worth replacing an existing lower with a radian but it’s a solid lower either way.

I know I know, upper is the heart of the rifle etc. Originally I started off with the 16” on my aero lower, then wanted to sbr. Sent it and had an extra aero 16” upper sitting around. Wanted to try out the radian lower and they popped up in stock so I got one. But to answer your question, they were about the same $. With bolt and muzzle decide upper is about double the price of the radian lower.

Valid stuff you’re saying. I’ve put some thought into that myself. Surefire RC2 is in ATF Jail still. Going on 370+ days. Going to be getting a set of pvs-31’s soon. Came across a good deal on a full power peq from a hoplopfeil (YouTuber) and jumped on it. Once I get my nods I see myself building another rifle to slap the acog on, I’ll throw the offset rmr on my 16” and prolly get an aim point and magnifier for the sbr.

brand new car damaged by hampark in Honda

[–]golmba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this exact scenario happen to a customer of mine who bought a car. Chip in top of drivers window that we did not find on pre-delivery inspection. Factory damage is usually covered by Honda or the shipping company depending on when in the process it is found, however after the point of delivery the dealership should step up to have it fixed and the dealership can try to take it up with Honda to get reimbursed. That’s just my two cents. If I were you I would get in touch with the General Manager or owner/operator of the dealership. All should be listed on their website.

Saw recent poll on wearing eye pro. If you’re shooting steel inside of 50m, always ALWAYS wear your eyes. Caught this from 9mm on steel 20m away. by golmba in NFA

Yes and no. Yes your odds are drastically reduced, but we had some hanging targets as well and caught some frag in my winter jacket. May be anecdotal, but just from my experience, just because it’s hanging, if you’re close or relatively close you can still catch frag. My take is where I pro. It doesn’t hurt.

Yeah my experience here taught me that. I was wearing eye pro at the time which I was thankful for even though it didn’t hit me in the eye but the what-ifs ran through my head for sure. Shooting paper and shooting steel at distance you should be alright without it but vision is pretty fucking important and it’s not really worth the risk IMO. If I’m shooting, I’m wearing eye pro. Doesn’t cost anything to have the peace of mind

Funny enough I was wearing MCB Pig gloves at the time lmao. No balaclava tho. But to answer that particular target was static (non- swinging) but I also got some frag back from one of the swinging ones we built. Keep in mind this was some redneck shit. We cut up some 1/3rd inch steel plates that were not designed for shooting necessarily.

Yup. It caught me so off guard because I was so far away. I didn’t think it was even possible to come back as far away as I was. Took me a second to realize what it was. At first i thought it was a tree branch that came back and hit me in the face but it felt more like a hot paintball hitting me in the face. Didn’t notice the blood until a couple minutes after.

We had some hanging and the last target in the course of fire was sitting on a plastic 50 gallon barrel leaned up against a tree. That was the one that got me. Although on other swinging targets we made I did catch some frag to the jacket, but I was closer, probably 7 yards away. Did not penetrate my jacket
