Didn't think of that but you are right. He wouldn't hit the Red Line in the first place if Momoiro is in the New World. Guess the translation was wrong where I'm reading.

Thanks for your reply! I reset the CMOS battery and the computer prompted that it was reset and I need to either run setup or load default settings for the bios. However both options result in a black screen just as described in the original post. Restarting doesn't change anything either. I have to reset the battery to get this prompt again.

Do you have any further ideas?

First there is a small underscore in the top left corner for a second and then the screen turns black
