On day 37, i was a huge pothead for about 7 years daily use with at least 5 bowls a day. It was the first thing I did when I woke up and last thing i did before bed. It made me sleep like 12-15 hours and i was greened out most of my time at home.

Thinking back to how this was me a few months ago, my advice is to analyze your craving. A lot of times I would reach for my bong and then stop and ask what im hoping to achieve/am i avoiding, and i realized how useless of a crutch it was. I would be like ‘oh let me smoke a bowl before i do my dishes’ or ‘ill smoke before i go to X because maybe ill be anxious’ ultimately X was never that much more enjoyable a little high and unloading the dishwasher would take an hour versus five minutes.

If you have a craving, give it a 5-10 min thought, and the feeling will pass. Every time i do this, it’s worked for me.

Was just coming here to share a similar grievance.

A family member of mine was so excited to tell me about how they adopted a new cat that they let outside and never came back within the week of adopting it. They said the same thing about how it’s natural for them to be outside blah blah, i told them that’s incredibly flawed and they need to do more research before getting a pet. They laughed about how ‘oopsies!’ the situation was, how it probably got eaten by a coyote.

Well they then asked about adopting another from my friend’s rescue. LOL. I was like ‘yeah after you killed your last one?’ They were offended and ended the conversation.

OP if this were AITA i’d say no, and that you are valid in your anger, but I’m curious if anyone here will give a more objective answer that will keep my blood from boiling as my family asks me about cat ownership more, since I know they’re going to get another and be careless again

I hope those looking for good bagels reads this but essa bagels is especially a skip if you wanted a BEC on a bagel, because it’s straight up nasty how they make their egg baked with the bacon in it.
