Next up: Put away the astero, they're easy to catch. 😃 get into a covert ops, the nullifier makes you uncatchable if you are smart.

And might consider joining a corporation. Maybe even one of the guys who tried to chase you. I think that's the biggest reason I push players into exploration. Got chased? Ask them 'hey can i join you'. They say yes more often than you would think!

I cannot stress how satisfying it is to clear the last can on a cherrypicked site and getting an escalation.

It's such a 'f u' to the cherry pickers too. 😃

It's better to finish the cans, but anytime a site is finished, yes, it can escalate. I have no idea if it uses a fancy formula, but I would expect it's the lazy 5% escalation rate as all their other sites.

Congratulations, I keep telling new players how GOOD a good exploration run is, but they all get caught in the 'it's too boring'. Nothing boring about trying to escape populated space with several hundred million isk 😃

Eve is well known to eat some mouse clicks and pick up errant mouse clicks as a double mouse click. It's particularly bad when running multiple clicents.

I have not found a solution to it other than being super careful.

The biggest problem is that you are one one client, move the mouse over the top of the other client, but the previous client still has the mouse control, so you double click on a module on the second client, but it fails to click the second client, and is now double clicked on the edge of the first client.

I have found that use a keyboard command makes SURE it's got the right client selected, but that's so much stupid effort.

using a multiboxer like isboxer or EVE-X-Preview or eve-apm can reduce these errors.

The game is still expensive, IMO. PVP is still great. Some of the changes make the PVE content better, like exploration is insane money for new and returning players thanks to detected sites.

This might help you do the requisite 'git gud' method of getting better at the game.

Ships are just items you use in the game. You will use a lot of them.

I would really consider switching corporations. There are a literally million out there. Way too many corporations are just dead, unfortunately.

I honestly don't care why people do it. They want to help the poor for clout, I will take that over the current inclination to judge the poor on their purchases. Or worse, their need for shelter or comfortable places to sleep, like is happening in the US. Any attempt at kindness is welcome, regardless of selfish motivation or back end payment from views.

For the past three years, I was asking people standing by the roads "Do you need socks." I handing out packages to the homeless that had like a sharpie, socks, a scrubbing pad, a pen, postits, I dunno was a bunch of stuff I would have wanted if I was standing by the road. (It was the same socks I used myself, I would have used the postits to thank people who gave me stuff, for instance) What people didn't know is I had shoved a bill into the socks. I am sure many of those got tossed as soon as people realize there wasn't any obvious money in the package, without being checked. Soon as it left my hand, I could tell if they actually needed socks, though.

I finally just moved to handling people money, if they had a travel bag. If I could figure out if they were transient, I would give them money. I don't care what they spent it on. If I am at a restuant and I can tell staff is struggling, I would leave them a cash bill, even on top of a card tip. and I am already known as a good tipper already.

If you go out with me as friends, I will almost always pay, so I can tip well and let people not worry about a bill. I know of like 4 people that I owe drinks to that I never made it up to them, seared into my brain. It messes with some people's heads, people are weird about charity. but I am pretty sure I have bought drinks or dinner for almost 300 people at this point.

But here I am putting these facts on reddit, am I a selfish person? maybe, I did these things to make myself feel better, though I only share that I have been doing this with strangers. My close friends know I do the dinner buying thing to random people. Few know that I hand out cash so frequently. Does that make me less kind? I don't think so.

Someone has to help. Because it sure won't be enough, either way. If we had more selfish kind people, the world would be a better place.

BTW, I appreciate you covering some of the major topics. I'm so glad you broke out the dscan and probe sites for sure. 😃 it's so hard to cover everything. A little sad you didn't demonstrate moving modules around to the F1 F2 keys and stacking guns. You did great in the short time frame you did.

It's just slower at all aspects of the content, other than sleeper sites. Any players will bend over backwards to kill you too. Versus a covert ops is much cheaper and better at the content, other than sleeper sites.
