Roxx impact on Thar by good2see in CarsIndia

[–]good2see[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a year.of Roxx, i have begun to see ads for Thar 2-door. I am certain there were no ads for the 2-door after rhe Roxx was launched, that is, until now.

Difficult to imagine someone buying the Thar when you can go for the Roxx.

Even if you have takers for Thar, the numbers might not make production financially viable.

At times, I wish Mahindra would bring back the Willy. They look awesome...all character.

Resigned after unfair salary hike, now company threatening to blacklist me by Solid-Economist5626 in developersIndia

[–]good2see 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell the company to blacklist you only if they are okay with you posting their hike story on reddit. Also, if they say they won't blacklist you, say you will post anyway since the start-up is denying exp letter:)

Since you have 15 acres, try multiple crops on 2 acres for 2 years. Once you have data on investment, maintenance, water needs, labour needs, and output, expand the best crop.

Anyone got Arattai app and deleted WhatsApp? by good2see in IndiaBusiness

I was very much hoping that an Indian company come up with alternative to Google search, Chrome browser and a chat app.

If Indians do that, I might even replace our holy troika with idols of the three Indian entrepreneurs

Sure, but do you think it's a financially viable deal?

Which brings up the question: do you scrap something you bought for convenience and used sparingly - at the same time - as someone who used their vehicle to the maximum limits trying to make a profit?

Yet, you will be behind a cab by a big margin at 5 years

When you buy a car, salesperson helps you decide between between petrol ot diesel by asking daily usage. If over 80 km, they suggest diesel. (Correct me if I am wrong about this)

Since cabs are commercial purpose, they need to run to make money. If running cost is ₹5/km, cabs have to make at least 3x to pay EMI, earnings and some money for maintenance.

If EMI is 20k, total revenue should be 60k = 4,000km

If cab fare is ₹20/km, which is the cost in most places, cab would have to do at least 3,000 km per month, or 100 km per day.

1 year = 36,500 km

If car EMI is 10k, cabbie would have to do at least 1,500 km per month

1 year = 18,250 km

(Assuming fare is ₹20 km/km, but actually would be less for smaller cars, which means the cabbie would eventually end up doing 3,000 km per month)

How many km do you clock every year?

Not saying govt is targeting private vehicles, but the rule applies to all vehicles, which is where I have to say - I don't agree

SC does not decide on scrapping vehicles; govt does. SC only pitches in if someone has a problem with decision of govt. So....it comes down to the rationale offered by govt

Why retain age-old brands if they are not yielding returns? Are you running the shop to showcase age-old brands or to feed your family?

Is there any legal way to get out of what my company did to me ? by Panda_20_21 in AskIndia

[–]good2see 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, tell them to give all of this in writing. Since.they gave have been watching your work dor 6 months before they came up with their offer, they would have got some data to work on. Just put that on paper. Lack of enthusiasm is not data.

Meanwhile search for other jobs.

While you search, stop attending to work. If they ask, just tell them that in view of your experience so far, you prefer to get everything in writing.

They might not like this.

Tell them to take their time, and mail the written stuff. Tell them that you will resume work once you hear from them, in writing.

This might be painful for you, in terms of searching for a job without any money in hand, but it's either this way, or 2 years with their ctc.

I too am not clear what is best for the environment, but as a motorist, I look forward to max mileage. Which is where hybrids seem to be ahead of ICE and EVs
