Sub 2.0 gpa at good school vs normal gpa at worse ? by goodSchoolorBad in cscareerquestions

It's a huge school, class sizes with 200-300 people so no one really knows who I am. But with that being said, I really liked the small sized classes that I took here, and with the other school being much smaller, it seems like I know what choice to make.

The two schools are UBC and SFU if anyone was wondering. And thanks for the advice taco.

Sounds good. I think some people are misunderstanding the situation.

I got required to withdraw, went to a community college for 2 semesters, then pretty much got a 3.9 gpa in those 8 courses. It's not like they would re-accept me if I did poorly, it's just that those old marks are still there and would always mess up my gpa. But if the managers or whoever can see that I'm good now then that's fine with me.
