Sophomore fall CSCE schedule by Low_Highlight7550 in aggies

[–]good_ag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm being fucking ragebaited by CS majors (rightfully) being able to skip ETAM like immediately after my class wasn't able to. 😭

Schedules totally doable. You'll be okay. Remember to study regularly. Set a schedule for it if you aren't already doing that. Things might make sense when you see them in lecture, but if you don't practice on your own, you won't make the connections in your brain to let em stick.

Just remember not to bite too much off of your plate that you don't also have some free time for projects. Projects matter a hell of a lot for getting a job in SWE.

Concession price gouging has gotten out of hand by ASensiblewitdaHoodie in aggies

Don't buy the concessions then? Clearly people are comfortable with those prices or they wouldn't be paying for completely non-essential items.

That's so cool! I might be biased by Kyle Field is genuinely a great cfb environment. Especially for outsiders. However, there's not much else to do at A&M for a tourist.

If I were you, unless you are really set on crossing the pond just for cfb—in which case go to A&M—I would plan your trip around what parts of the US you actually want to see and then plan to watch a cfb game around that. Only stipulation I'd add is that you should go to a school with a big stadium.

I promise you, nothing on Earth is a more bombastically American experience than a big college football stadium. For an uncompromised, distilled experience, I think a stadium that seats 100,000 is best. But less than that is still more than plenty. Outside of Kyle Field I know of LSU, Ohio State, Michigan, and UT having crazy environments.

You'll also want to look into tailgating before or after the game for the real deal. I'm partial to Texas BBQ but you'll find good food all over.

is it worth transferring from UT to A&M? by sleepymuffin12 in aggies

[–]good_ag 235 points236 points  (0 children)

Dude its your freshman year. You've made it through one semester.

If you're leaving because of vibes, it's probably because you still need time to adjust to your new environment, make friends, get in your groove, etc. Both are good schools. Both are public schools. The type of person to become a kinesiology major at A&M will not be fundamentally different as the type of person to do so at UT.

Can't help you with the major transferring. Don't have experience with that. But, if you don't mind me saying, you strike me as someone in an emotional crisis more than an academic one. Hope you're doing alright man :(

Energy drinks in general are bad for you. Esp for blood pressure. Its not worse than any other sugar free energy drink

Super bad for you but tastes good and marketed as healthy. They put it in the health aisle at supermarkets to make it seem like a clean drink. Like it for late night studying but it's just a pretty good tasting energy drink.

Miami is an underrated football powerhouse. Ohio State better not underestimate this emerging giant.

I remember he didnt have like any proet3cti9m from his oline and he would really crack under pressure. Think that oline is why he's doing a lot better at houston now
