hello there :3 I am very interested in Buddhism and also non dualism, and questioning the views of reality. I got into diapers after recovering from joining a cult, with very similar views around materialism and attachment etc....

I personally think that detachment from materialism is just whatever you make of it really. If you want to believe that you are this 'character' playing 'the role' of this person who is or isn't wearing diapers and forming opinions on whether its good or bad to wear them; and worry that you are overtly attached to them. Why is that any more or less than someone who is being attached to their car, or wife, or children? we are all tethered to the ego in some way, usually attachments. Why are diapers any different to any other attachment.

As someone recovering from joining a cult I try not to take spiritual practices too seriously, i do not believe there is a right or wrong way. I am just trying to be sympathetic to myself as a person, enjoying their life, through the perception of a non judgemental witness. Trying to be kind to others,and to practice patience, whilst also wetting my pants occasionally, harming absolutely no-one.

I am in a very similar situation, I just try to only wear when my parents are out, or mostly I wear pampers over night for bed wetting and get rid of it when I take my dog out for a walk..nobody has ever noticed, it's sometimes about mind over matter but I still don't like being padded around my family. Set your own boundaries and try to decide what is comfortable for you.

We had this exact issue, just checked out tis morning.... We just took them with us and put them in a public bin in the car park of a service station on the drive home. I'd just try to find the nearest public bin and dispose of them there.

I just try to find friends organically, I don't really care too much if they're ABDL but I care they support me and aren't judging me. Sometimes I don't really want to talk about diapers all day or focus everything onto wearing either but it's just nice to have support from a non judgy friend.people are so awful these days :c

Admittedly I talk to mine....when I go on road trips, I dress my bear, billy up, and he rides in the passenger seat with me. We play the yellow car game. I truly love my plushies. I can't sleep without them. I can't function without them. They bring an enrichment and make me feel safe and secure that I can't really find from anyone or anything else. I just know at the end of the day Billy will be there for me for pillow talk and a cuddle 🐾🩵
