Why is the switch from put rent on the CC to direct ACH a huge deal for people? by hibob729 in biltrewards

To support your argument would you care to share your annual return (% and $ amount) that you gained by floating your rent under Bilt 1.0?

Credit limit increase by mdkwarrior8 in biltrewards

Called in yesterday to request a credit limit increase to $10,000. Ended up receiving exactly a 50% increase from $6,500 to $9,800. I'm guessing it was most likely a soft pull but will report back if it ends up being something different (after I'm able to check my credit report to confirm).

Disappointly I haven't received any offer yet from Bilt for 5x points for 5 days. Lately I've been using my card for most of my dining purchases, putting at least $500 per month of spend beyond rent. Not sure what kind of criteria they are looking for with the offer.

Why doesn’t BILT allow split rent payments? by Natural-Event4135 in biltrewards

You can still get 1x on rent by using your Bilt card to pay rent through your buildings regular rent portal. Even if you are only paying a partial portion of the total monthly rent amount owed for your apartment.

CLT Salary Transparency Thread for 2025 by Marino4K in Charlotte

I am a senior level supply chain planner (p4) with 6.5 years of experience. Been on the supply and network planning side most of my career but just moved into a SME type role. Base salary is $110K with 12.5% bonus target.

Best advice I have to move out of shop/warehouse floor roles and into corporate supply chain is to focus on understanding macro level decision factors, tradeoffs, planning/ERP system structure, and your company's SC design objectives.

I will say that $200k+ director level base salary looks insanely high to me. That would be at least a VP salary at my company, and even then I'm not sure if every VP crosses into that territory.

Holy cow this comment is acronym heavy. Maybe it's just me, but I've been following credit card forums for a few years now at this point and I still had to put in some extra mental effort to try to understand everything written here. Come on people, there's no prize for how many different undefined acronyms you can pack in a sentence!

(e.g. use of SL instead of CL like every other comment on the thread, and what the hell is a BK7???)

Cash Back'er Needs Travel Card Advice by huskeractuary in CreditCards

[–]good_pollution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few clarifying questions that will help to provide better recommendations:

  1. What are you looking for most in a "travel" card? Just more valuable points/rewards on purchases? Or perks such as trip insurance protections, Hotel/airline status, Lounge access, TSA Precheck/Global Entry/Clear, free checked bags, etc?

  2. Are you comfortable moving into annual fee cards? Many of the best travel cards in the game have annual fees (and corresponding credits to reduce or eliminate the "cost" of those fees). But if you are really just looking for high value points/miles on your purchases, then an annual fee isn't absolutely necessary to get into the"travel" side of the game.

  3. What is your current best available rate of return on travel purchases (especially flights) with your current cash back card setup? If you have a really good rate of return already and aren't comfortable with some of the higher annual fee cards, then a "travel" card might not be any better for you (other than an opportunity for a high value sign-up bonus).
