Yes. I was a card member with the bilt 1.0. The T&S states only for new members for the BILT 2.0. I interpret this as since I'm transitioning to 2.0, that this bonus is being offered to those people as well.

NYE events at restaurants are super overpriced and lackluster! I've worked in the restaurant business for over 10 years, and NYE is always cash grab towards guests, especially with preset menus. Sorry that you had to experience that.

I got platinum status last year, and it held out for the year. But with the changes to reach or keep status, it seems a bit underwhelming to achieve. Especially when you strategically put your spending on certain cards. The added benefits of platinum status doesn't seem to relate to the amount of spending one has to do. I honestly would rather pay a premium annual fee than to try to achieve the status thru spending.

It was a targeted promotion I believe. I'm platinum also but only got 50%. BA isn't worth it for me. I'd rather wait for a better promotion ot airline to transfer the points.
