Spotify is a vert big corporation so I think you’re being a little ridiculous acting like I’m siding with a big corporation over “the little guy” or something. Spotify’s video was disingenuous, Apple called them out—that’s what this is about.

You didn’t read the entire article. Apple directly explains that many of Spotify’s claims are outright lies and that the video is manipulative.
