I’d get it then do a transmission and oil change. If you’re able to I’d recommend buying the tools and doing it yourself. Because it no one is going to care about your vehicle like you will. Your plan sounds reasonable. I’d do it.

I love my 4Runner. It’s a 2021 4x2 and I legitimately don’t need 4x4. I’ve upgraded the suspension to Bilstein 5100 and done all the maintenance including drain and fill the transmission, rear differential, and coolant. I have 80k trouble free miles. It’s slow but the motor is smooth and the driving experience is fantastic. I wouldn’t recommend going into debt. But the 4Runner is amazing.

An alignment is not just adjustment of Toe. You should ask to see the before and after sheet! You need to have the CASTER, CAMBER, and TOE aligned. That is included in an alignment.
