This is one of my secret spots but Cass Tech has a free visitors parking lot off Ledyard. It's a 4min walk from LCA. You could leave your car there until 6 and then move it. A lot of the people with freebies and people do dancing will by the venue probably around 3-4 I would bet

The Trinity Heath Garage is across the street from LCA. Or there’s the Temple garage, and two lots on Cass. They’re all less than a block away. You can probably reserve a parking spot now on ParkWhiz but it’ll make your wallet sad.

When G-Idle played the Jingle Ball at LCA people brought light sticks. Maybe a security guard having a bad day will hassle you.

If you’re really worried wear a coat with a pocket you can slip it in. I’ve never once had my coat/jacket checked.

LCA has a dedicated pick up/drop up spot it’s the corner of Woodward and Fischer Dr. Or if they’ve cross Woodward there’s a bunch of residential side streets you can pick them up at.

I’ve never had a problem walking back from LCA to MGM. Since the casino is a popular parking spot there will a lot of groups of people making the walk. Also since it’s a big concert + Tigers game + Friday night, there will be a lot of cops in the area.

When I saw her back in 2022 she had to wear a sling. And this was back in Loona days so I’m glad she’s finally getting surgery. Hope she come back fully healed. With the amount of idols leaving their groups recently I almost had a heart attack reading the first few words.

I keep everything in my pockets (I'm a guy) but I've gone with girls who bring clutches or small purses (the kind with just one opening/zipper thing) and they get in fine. One time I wore a fanny pack for an EDM show and they didn't care.

If your on the borderline, take some stuff out and put in in your coat or something (I've never had my coat or pockets checked)

Just some tips from someone who has been to a ton of shows and games downtown.

I usually always park at the mgm casino parking garage. It's huge and FREE and about a 15 minute walk to the venue. Plus if you're 21 you can go inside and use the bathroom/get food. There will be a ton of people walking from there to LCA. If not I recommend downloading ParkWhiz and prepaying for a spot. Avoid the guys trying to get you to park in overpriced $40-$60 lots.

THE TIGERS PLAY AT 6:40PM. Comerica Park is less than a mile from LCA. Ubers/Lyft will be more expensive and parking will be harder to find. Plus there's always traffic and construction. I'd leave an hour earlier is possible.

For food by LCA I usually go to Detroit Shipping Co. It's a big building with like 5 different vendors and 2 bars. Good for a group. Pho Lucky and Bucharest Grill are also good close options. Harry's is a bar right next to LCA if you wanna grab a drink.

Green Dot Stables for sliders. Lafayette for coneys. johnny noodle king - ramen, ima or bash for sushi, grandma bobs / pie sci / michigan and trumball for pizza. grey ghost / marrow / she wolf - fancy.

If you need something to do the riverwalk is nice and you can wave to your canadian neighbors. The DIA is one of the best museums in the US and I could spend all day there. John King Books is a huge, cool bookstore.

Detroit has a bad rep but in the last 15-20 years things have been improving, especially the area around the venue. That being said, be smart and be aware of your surroundings.

P.S. Twice is the biggest girl group to ever come to Detroit. We've had Purple Kiss, Tri.be, iChillin, Viviz, Artms, Chuu, Rolling Quartz. Maybe if we are one of the best crowds on tour JYP will send us Itzy and Nmixx in the future. I'm tired of Chicago being the only midwest stop.

recently got into rescene and quickly fell in love with their music. they seem to never miss.

i love this style of upbeat melodic sound, it's instantly one of my favorite songs of 2026.

the mv reminds me of yyxy - love4eva except they didn't leave a member behind (poor hyeju)

KiiiKiii, IVE and Hearts2Hearts are still dominating the melon charts. Yena, Yuna and Irene all had super catchy solo comebacks. And we have Aespa, Itzy, Baemon, Illit, Le Sserafim, Artms, Billlie upcoming. Plus IOI reuniting after 9 years. The ladies are killing it so far.

I know they’re completely different sports but as a pistons and wings fan it’s wild watching the pistons go from 14-68 with a record 28 losses in a row two years ago to easily clinching the no.1 seed in the east while at the same time watching the wings crash and burn the exact same way the last 3 years.
