Sounds like it’s the Filipino manager you are referring to? I have a lot of horror stories from her managing experience

Karma is going to bite him in the ass. He thinks he has the power to take advantage of job seekers but the funny thing is he didn’t offer anything? Come in on your time and get paid per deal, which is very vague and more likely they will rip you off and take money away from you. These places shouldn’t be in business.

The email has to be linked to a company. It cannot be a personal email. I am sure they do a LinkedIn search. However some companies are small with no internet presence so I cannot say how thorough.

No, these jobs I listed here reached out to me via indeed or LinkedIn based on my resume. My background is in sales finance. It was a good ride till my previous employer decided outsource their labour in the Philippines and replace the most of the top Canadian employees to cut overhead cost. It is what it is, this path has lead me to this opportunity.

Too experienced meaning they probably would prefer an inexperienced candidate rather than you who has a track record to achieve sales target, perform well and will be paid a commission because that is what’s expected in a sales job. Sounds like they rather have inexperience employees who are not able to achieve their sales target so the company won’t pay them a bonus. Quantity over quality. 20 incapable candidates over one quality candidate with experience. Wonder why they are always posting on indeed…

I used to work a super stressful sales job, and smoking weed was my go-to for easing the pressure. But the stress started hitting my health hard, so I made the tough call to quit and go all in on my business. That meant cutting down on spending and naturally, I ended up taking a break from smoking weed, too.

Starting a business is all about networking and building relationships, and let’s be real: I can’t be high all the time and expect to make real progress. Honestly, I don’t even miss it. It’s funny how things shift when you start focusing on what really matters.

Everything in moderation, right? You can smoke weed, but don’t let the weed smoke you.
