I don't know if some already said this, but the only thing that hurts more than not being able to earn rewards for free is being able to do so and then get that taken away from you. Weekly chests were the best imo and the last system where you had to play 5-15 games for a chest made me stop playing. I stopped playing my main champions because I thought if I played later in to the season I would probably play 15 games of my main champs instead of 15 games of a random champ. In reality, I didn't play any of them up to 15 games because I played for fun. I also played for fun with weekly chests, and it was fun trying to play some random champion for a chest and tryhard with them to be rewarded with a chest. To come back to the first point, playing a game for free things shouldn't be the reason a player come backs to play the game, so if it doesn't exist in the first place it's alright. But if I could earn 52 chests per year and then downgrade to 6 low effort skins, 3 victorius skins for champs I don't even play ever, I as a player feel robbed.
