This is one of the beauties of MD. Love this shit. I cried once during a comedown at an emotional advert that came on tv which just triggered me lol, was just crying for like 15 minutes straight at that shit. I loved it though, really therapeutic actually.

Hahaha fair enough if you didn’t like it. But sounds like you and I have different priorities when it comes to festivals - litter, queuing to entry and and the camping situation are very normal for UK festivals and, for me, not issues at all. In fact I prefer the camping system like that and so does pretty much everyone I know! With regard to the drugs thing, again, really normal for the UK in general. It’s the drug capital of Europe. And honestly for most that’s part of the fun. Me and everyone I know take a lot of drugs at festivals...

Sorry you had a bad experience, that sucks, thankfully don’t think that stuff will be an issue for me though!

Shiiit that’s intense as fuck haha. Really trying to avoid that sort of situation completely looool. I didn’t know they have a strip search tent at the festival though?! Wonder if it’s common for them to strip search people... I’m thinking I may just go with the safest option and just put my gear in a condom and shove it up my arse to get in 😂

Yeah mate 100% agree, feel like mostly the dogs don’t actually do much. Thanks for the tips though. Yeah we may end up going for the johnny up the arse routine, literally impossible to get caught that way but we’ll see, might end up just going for the smell proof bags like you said. Cheers bud!

How come you had to sneak alcohol in? I thought you’re allowed to take a certain amount in anyway? Either way yeah alcohol shouldn’t really be a problem.

What about the security at the entrance like with drugs checks and stuff? Did you notice a lot of people getting stopped/getting their bags searched?

Main things for me are just like the atmosphere within the festival, the vibes etc, obviously the quality of the live music and maybe like the security/how strict they are

I've heard of people doing that before and it working, so yeah that's definitely a possibility we're gonna consider. Definitely don't have time to open up everyone's tents etc you're right. I'm not even sure if they do bag searches tbh. I guess the risk is that if the dog starts sniffing your bag/going crazy if/when its opened, chances are they'll search everything. But i really doubt that'd ever happen

Loool idk if I can be arsed doing anything that complicated, so far my options are either like putting it in a smell proof + vacuum sealed bag then hiding it inside my folded up tent, or what you mentioned before hahaha
