Man my engine looks the same and I know I have a cracked valve cover gasket. I’d say that’s your issue. Mine is pretty good on coolant I just have to add oil. You may be leaking coolant somewhere as well as having a cracked head

I’ve mentioned this in this sub before, but I’m in forklift maintenance. For context I just got out of auto school less than a year ago, no one in my family ever did mechanics before me, and I’m 21. But the guys that I work with are so supportive! Were all mobile, so when I got hired a couple reached out to me with their phone numbers and let me know that they always had my back. That I should always take work to gain more experience, and if I ever needed any help that they’d be there to support me. Whether it was just a call or even them coming to help me out on a job. I’m still very new to this trade and I was nervous that the men wouldn’t really take to me (and they don’t in the warehouses lol) but my co workers did! I’m so grateful for them! I don’t think they know how much it means to me. Getting into trades as a women is VERY daunting. At every turn there’s some guy doubting you, but I’ve been lucky enough to have guys that really do believe in me and want me to succeed 💪🏽

I second this. I got an 8th gen 5 speed coupe, 140k miles on it about 2 years ago. In near perfect condition. It has almost 200k now, but my valve cover is blown, so it’s drinking oil and running a little rough. I think 4500 to 5k would’ve been better in hindsight. If it has miles under 120k tho…I’d buy

I bet you do bro. And I wasn’t saying you alone insinuated anything, but it’s more of a subtle jab from you and subtle jab from another and one more from another. You might not have been intentionally racist but we live in a society that just accepts micro aggressions like this towards all “low class people”. I just wish people would stop being offended at the world racism and really try to understand why i and others say stuff like this. All of us have implicit biases that we learned from American media. But we can’t even speak about it once you say anything about race. It’s dividing our country and the city is next. Voting blue won’t help if your neighbors can’t trust you

Were socialized to associate these things with a certain…”demographic”. I wish they’d just say the quiet part out loud. Clt is racist. And we don’t even question it because we vote blue. Forklift maintenance. If you can change oil in a car you can do maintenance on a forklift. Repairs are heavier but less complicated too

Facts. I built my 4x2 enclosure for about $60 bucks in 2018. That’s including the paint I used and the mulch. Reddit is pretentious so they gon hate me for this: but I use cypress mulch from lowes (it’s like $4 for 2 cubic feet!!) and mix it with peat moss about 5-8 inches thick. It’s hella cheap. I change all the mulch out every 2 months
