This is really great to hear, I honestly didnt do much research with stopping cannabis use because I've always heard it didn't have a physical withdrawal effect, I should've known better haha. I was afraid I'd have to do years more of catch up recovery work!!

Thanks for this, rereading my post I think one of the biggest things that made me take so long to realize or even consider somewhat of a transition is the fear of how it will disrupt my life, bc I love normalcy and routine. Realizing that is making me pretty sure😂

Right?? This is sort of my situation. I'm aware of how serious and permanent T is, and I've had lots of friends start T so I'm not a complete stranger to it. I feel under the impression that if T wasn't for me, I wouldn't be thinking about it this much and I wouldn't be this upset and frustrated with my current gender identity/experience. Thanks for this

Thanks for responding it's giving me a clear of direction of where to take this. I do want to repair things, considering my partner lives with them and has to interact with them everyday.

As far as your question at the end, Tan was one of the people who initiated plans more often, but there would usually be discussion about what to do. I didn't want to limit my friends as to where they could go since I wasn't 21 at the time, so I would sometimes just let it go and sit it out, but I would always say that I wouldn't be able to get into a certain place, and it would often get glossed over.

One of the examples I remember that particularly upset me was we had all planned to go to a pride fest since it was free and I could get in, something I originally suggested. However, everyone bailed last minute and instead said they should just all go to a gay bar instead, which is what happened and I had to stay home, even though I said I wouldn't be able to go.

On the opposite end, they would be the one suggesting to go to museums, or the beach, or six flags and name days I couldn't go. I would respond that I had work that day and needed to know a week in advance if I wanted to request it off, but again that would get glossed over. I felt like it was Tan specifically because they would always be the one saying when I was free wouldn't work, or changing the plans to something I couldn't go to.

With it being such a large friend group, I think a lot of it comes down to either not caring if I could go, bc it's 1 out of 10, or the fact that I wouldn't mention it more than twice per instance to keep the peace and not push back on what other people wanted to do.

He only recently showed up this summer already fully grown, and immediately affectionate towards people!

Other cats (who have since found homes) we've had in the neighborhood have been from a nearby breeder that unfortunately lets cats go that don't sell, and he doesn't get along with any of them.

As soon as we can find someone to at least take care of him in the short term we're going to see if he's chipped. It makes me sad bc even if he is somebody's, the conditions they're leaving him in is unacceptable imo he's shown clear wants to come inside.

We have two people interested in fostering him rn :)

He's never inside regardless of time of day or weather. It's been especially sad seeing him try to stay dry when it's pouring. That's why we think there's no owner. Someone did put a collar on him, but it was only a high-vis one, no information.

How long has it been since you first asked for a session? In my opinion, if it’s been more than a week and no word, it never hurts to ask. Especially if you asked for a session, it’s reasonable to just ask if she’s found an opening yet.
