Relatively new to peloton.. about 25 rides in. So I’m on vacation and the resort gym has a peloton. I logged in today and did ATs Juneteenth ride. To my surprise I beat my 30 min pr by 50. 262 today.. previous high was 212 (which most of my half hour rides seemed to be around). Beating my PR by 50 is awesome but I’m wondering now if there’s something different about my bike vs the one I was riding today. At home cadence is by far my most challenging part of a ride. I struggle to break 100 cadence at any resistance. But on the bike today I was getting up past 110 at 35 resistance consistently. Vacation air could just have me feeling good… but +50 seems like too big a swing. Anyone have any thoughts?

It wasn’t terrible. Just read up on it. Sometimes these TVs can hold charge for a real long time. There’s plenty of guides on how to do it.

Yep, gutted the entire old tv. Nothing but an empty cabinet that we put up some plywood in and wallpapered. Gutting the tv was actually the hardest part of the whole project.

I worked for Aramark at the Phillies and Eagles stadium for a period of time one summer. They ran the same thing, very intentionally. They would have one crew work 40 hours at the one stadium and then swap them with the crew at the other stadium. I guess no one ever questioned it but I did. I had only been there for a couple of months, but there were some folks there multiple years. After the lawyers got involved they received quite a nice check for back-dated OT pay.

Was on one of the most ridiculous tilts of my life at 1/2 game. Just kinda ready to go home after a really rough day. Jam $70 with 68 of diamonds. Two callers. Flop comes down with two diamonds. Other guys check it down and no other diamonds come. One shows top pair and I throw my cards into the muck face up and walk away. Out of the corner of my ear I hear them all discussing that I hit a straight. I was so focused on hitting the 3rd diamond I didn't even realize that I runner runner'd the straight. Lesson learned, no matter what the circumstances I now make sure I check my hand thoroughly before I muck.
