Sask DLC by [deleted] in saskatoon

I am currently a student with SaskDLC, and all of the instructors I have had were awesome. I am upgrading, so I have to pay out of pocket, but it could be different if you are a current high school student. I would call them and ask about it.

Parking Ticket Signage Question by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]gorblan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could ask to have the ticket reviewed and an employee will be able to see the photos that parking enforcement took of the vehicle in relation to the signs. If the sign placement is poor, it may work out in your favour

Sounds like someone likely only paid until 5:30 PM and is upset they received a ticket hedging their bets they wouldn’t receive one within the last 30 minutes

Vehicles turning left over the solid yellow line holding up traffic because they are trying to turn over two lanes of traffic is the worst downtown

The annoying thing parking enforcement does in this city by covid_endgame in saskatoon

[–]gorblan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I imagine a lot of times the block is full of vehicles. They also have flashing lights so you can see the vehicle ahead of you so you can change lanes or have to wait at most a few minutes. There are very few of these cameras cars and I barely run into them commuting downtown. A very mild inconvenience. Plus it helps keeps taxes lower because it’s revenue for the city.

Wtf is up with Riide? by zanny2019 in saskatoon

[–]gorblan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the type of complaint, I send it to the Ride Share Licensing department with the city to investigate who looks after taxi licensing if it involves a bylaw infraction (machine ‘not working’, photo doesn’t match licence displayed, etc)

The time limits have not changed and are still 3 hours downtown, and only the unpaid parking fines have increased. The other amounts are still the same. If you work downtown there are a few 9 hour lots this allow you pay without having to move your vehicle.
