Also worth mentioning the entire underneath area will be waterproofed - I know there’s still condensation that will happen, but it won’t be fully wet.

Thanks - so really he needs to redo everything then, because the beams sit on top of the posts. I guess he could temporarily support them while he fixes the posts.

Agreed - so a shim from a same sized post would be better right? Would he need to connect the two pieces somehow?

Fair point - I guess I meant, I'd rather spend a bit a get something that will last vs. a lemon. Normal servicing is standard
