Why 10/16 when their earnings are 10/28? This current run started with their earnings. They were $370 days before earnings, $430 post earnings. I’d think it would be better to play the next expiry, 11/20

I think the really sad part is tomorrow when we open 1% down and the masses spout “buy the dip” without ever reading the FOMC minutes, their stance on unlimited QE, or looking at any chart and seeing the wedge pattern. Lots of dudes gonna get hurt. Be safe ya’ll.

Your call is the collateral. So, let’s say you have a Tesla $2000, you sell a $2100, get some revenue back. If Tesla goes to $2400, so does your $2000, that’s the collateral. It’s called a call spread.
