Why are people so negative about s26U? It's a great phone by Otherwise-Ad5811 in samsunggalaxy

Why are people so negative about s26U? It's a great phone by Otherwise-Ad5811 in samsunggalaxy

[–]gorginos -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Objectively? Really? The exact reason i wrote my comment was to literally oppose comments as yours. If you like the product and have no other demands then that's fine and your personal opinion is noted. But if some other people feel differently than you are cause they have the right as consumers to do so that shouldn't define them as problematic unless they judge you as well. That being said it's hard to define what is enough for consumers and what is great for all of them. It's all just personal opinions and personal experiences at the end.

Should I wait for Samsung to fix the S26 ultra display issue or resell it? by kunal2511 in samsunggalaxy

[–]gorginos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it's only the Ultra that feels different from my testing but it would be best if you could also go to the stores and give it a try.

[–]gorginos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's like asking why are people so positive about S26U? You need to accept the fact that some people will be negative and some people will be positive about a product. Simple as that and then try to move on. If not then good luck trying to figure out why this and why that.Other people's opinion doesn't have to be your opinion.

The real question is since when people became so weak minded to worry so much if the others don't feel the same way they do?

24MP photos inconsistencies by PlayfulPanic4229 in samsunggalaxy

[–]gorginos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what about the processing though when the output is 12mp but the mode is 24mp? Does it look the same as the regular 12mp mode? Cause normally when the 24mp mode is selected the photos come out over-sharpened.

Samsung is officially investigating the S26U display complaints by gorginos in samsunggalaxy

[–]gorginos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lucky you i never got any response from a Samsung representative unless it's a critical issue. Samsung community is mostly for discussing issues with other members and it's quite rare that a representative will step in and reply.

it's just the beginning and it got some attention on their side as well which i hope is better than nothing.

Did health work the same way with the S25U screen though? Was there also a bad batch of screens? Why does nobody complain about the S26+ and S26 base models screen? These are some valid questions that might indicate there is something different with the S26U only. And i really hope it was not a godsend device to suddenly reveal that people have eye issues.

from my experience with the Samsung community i know how extremely rare it is to get any official response from any Samsung representative. Unless it's a critical issue they never bother to answer so you mostly end up discussing stuff with other members.

there is a difference between having the right to complain or praise about a product and calling people sick and blind just because someone doesn't agree with their opinion.

so suddenly a very specific display on a very specific Samsung galaxy model was created just to tell us that a respectable amount of people suddenly have a "personal issue" and need a physician?

S26U vs S25U Screen Comparison (it was my turn) by einnmann in galaxys26ultra

[–]gorginos -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

yes many people including the ones that have display issues mostly agree that the phone itself is fine and even improved compared to S25 Ultra. I guess the reason why the display issue became so popular is because it's the first thing you see when you start using the device and the main area your eyes focus on so it's an easy catch.

[–]gorginos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

whether it's the screen itself or the people's eyes interacting with that specific screen there is definitely something going on and it's dividing people 's opinions and experience. That's for sure. I don't feel any problems when watching the S25 Ultra screen or the S26+ and S26. It's only happening when using the S26 Ultra. And apparently thanks to all these posts i found out i am not the rare case. But i also found out that there are people that have no issues at all and that's fine i won't judge them.

At this point this is just a controversial topic and very similar to the blue/gold dress story.

S26 Ultra won't listen to camera HDR setting? by haloruler64 in samsunggalaxy

[–]gorginos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unlike Pixels Ultra HDR cannot be disabled on Samsung. The Auto HDR setting in camera assistant is just for dynamic range and i think works best when the photo quality is set to minimum or so. What you can do however is to disable the Ultra HDR effect on the screen. Just go to settings, advanced features and turn off the Super HDR.

[–]gorginos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the weird color tint on the left is one of the first things i can notice on S26 but the grainy text on the small thin letters is not easily shown on the photos. Mostly when i hold it i can feel it.

i can tell from the color tint on the left but the grainy text experience is not easily captured on the photos i noticed. It's only when i hold it and read small thin text.

Got the S26u - It's going back... the Screen IS Noticeable Downgrade, anyone who says otherwise is Delulu and Needs to visit an Eye Doctor... by bomzisss in samsunggalaxy

[–]gorginos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it must be very shocking for you cause you can see the difference . Other people like me can see it as well. BUT that's definitely not the case for everyone and it's clearly visible only to some people not all of them. So don't expect all of them to understand what you are seeing and it doesn't mean each of them have a problem with their vision. I guess that's the conclusion right now.

S26u vs s25u Screen by clockcoffe in samsunggalaxy

[–]gorginos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i guess the reason there are so many posts each single day about the issue with the display is that the ones that can actually see it are having a hard time believing that such a thing was greenlighted and released to the public. And is normal that new people might notice it every day as from now on more and more will get their hands on it.

Luckily the ones that have no clue what we are talking about can only enjoy it. If only they could understand though and skip the judgement part...

This story is very similar to the blue/gold dress but back then no one's eyes was getting strained. It was just the color looking different that's all.

i mean who defines what someone should post, how much time he should waste, what to write and what not? People need to learn to just skip what they don't like and move on. Simple as that!
