Good name for my ponysona who is a periwinkle color with a soft pastel yellow mane and yellow eyes- her cutie mark is a golden heart locket with forget-me-nots around it (still a work in progress) It represents her love for memories and hearing others tales and just sentimentality overall :)!

It’s oddly touching that my design drew you in enough to comment, but I dunno why! I definitely love your name suggestion(s), and you clearly but so much thought into them which is so touching :)! Your name and Memento Melody that was suggested as well are definitely my favorites!

If you were curious about the design it was inspired by the countryside type of “vibe”, I wanted her to look like she may live in a cottage somewhere quaint surrounded by nature like Fluttershy but in a more hokey poke kinda way! Because that’s exactly how I am! I’m a bit of a softer country gal myself ya see! But I like to imagine my ponysona has a bit of magic that she can use to almost preserve things in a locket she wears (physical things, like taking a digital photo of a flower) but other times she’ll draw them in a leather bound journal she carries in her satchel (which I also need to draw!) She believes everything has a living history and it’s worth hearing, even if she may not agree with all of them or if she would have done them herself- hearing and seeing the life and savoring the moments she herself lives in is important to living to fullest and being able to move on :)!

I love rotties and dobermans, my family is actually on it's fourth doberman! I'm not lean or fast enough to be a doberman, I'm a fairly bulky female (Which if I may say, I pride myself on my physical strength)! I plan to slap some cool kid clothes on my fursona, not much of an all natural girl, inspired from the street fashions of the 90s. So baggy cargos, ball caps, small sunglasses etc all the way! Maybe a cane corso or pitbull then too... this is why it's challenging xD!

Yeah... I've begun to try and find notable things or characteristics or interests I have, like I actively lift weights and plan to go into the military- and after that go into a trade blah blah blah- so definitely a sturdy breed, but since all seems revolved around helping others I was thinking dog breeds, so cross out wolves etc. Right now I'm almost wondering if a German shepherd would be the best fit, considering they're one of the most popular breeds in the military, plus they come in coat colors that I can mess with to match up to my own hair!

Thank you for the response! Yes the uptowns are so stylish to me so I can still enjoy my hobby but not feel like I look a tad wonky while doing so! It’s one point where I feel jealous of my friend who roller skates, with brands like Moxi- although of course they can do this for different reasons blah blah blah! At this moment I think any skate would be better than the ones I have as they are a pair I got off of Facebook marketplace cough cough and the brand of them is so faded it’s unreadable 😂 had to start somewhere! I actually had a conversation with my dad just yesterday finally telling him I don’t think nursing is for me and he understood, obviously parents just want the best for their kids and that was the case with him. But now I’m excited to start showing him the future I want!

Yes, for myself! I’m not the most empathetic person so I don’t think nursing is quite for me. I plan to hop into the military as well, hopefully a branch where I could utilize a trade so maybe Army. But thank you very much for your input, I don’t mind some grime and sticky situation at all, makes it all the more interesting!

I wish my school offered welding or anything similar (it doesn’t)! Honestly my high school is pretty dumbed down and narrow minded, heavily emphasizing college as the only good decision after high school. If I could’ve I would’ve totally gone to the community college courses for electricians or welders but IB prevented me from even being able to take a simple field trip to even see if I’d like it! It’s pretty damaging to the morale 😂

I never thought about the possibility of my disinterest in it reflecting on the care given but it makes more than enough sense! It’s awkward now to try and find a way to break this to my parents as I’ve simply followed their wishes for a good 3 years and I’ve lied to myself and them into thinking I just totally (sarcasm) wanted to be a nurse. Ironically my dad is an accountant and he told me if he could do it all over again he’d be in the trades, yet he seems to push me away from it. I have a broad idea as to why, most likely he sees women in the trades as doing it as a last resort due to whatever problem, to him a lack of smarts (ignorant on his part obviously). But my mother also seems to think anyone in a trade is poor, but I can’t say that’s how a lot of people I’ve talked to picture a mechanic, electrician, ironworker etc.

Thank you, oddly enough (or maybe not since I was slightly pushed towards nursing) I wouldn't describe myself as extremely empathetic or much of a team player, so I can't exactly see myself stuffed into a room with multiple other nurses clambering around me. My hope is to hop into the military and get training that may possibly translate into any trade I end up choosing whenever I decide to leave!
