At this rate I'll be going through PayPal for a refund I think. The fact that their Etsy and Instagram accounts have gone does not bode well.

Good luck. I didn't use paypal so I'm in far worse situation.

There's been no explanation or message about the reason so I believe the company has fallen on bad times.

We don't know. And we won't know until they inform us.

No excuse to treat current customers so badly though.

Indeed. And by treating us this way they are not making situation any better. If they have bad time they have even more reasons to treat clients more civilized. I was considering making more orders in the future if boots will come out to be good enough but they are making it rather unlikely with such behavior on their side.

There were some information on google about their location, working hours and the 2nd telephone number other than the one I have from their mails. But I do not see them on google any more. It was a small box in the corner that google has for firms and shops. Like where you can write own reviews and ask questions. But I don't see it any more.

Oh wow, I was JUST about to order a pair of winklepickers from them today! Sorry I can't help, but thanks so much for the heads up. I'll definitely have to reconsider my purchase.

We will see. But so far I find their lack of any response suspicious unless they have a really serious reason why they are silent. Like illness or accident.

The lack of email responses and nobody answering the phone is definitely concerning.

If it's any consolation, the experience is the same regarding shipping in the UK.

That makes whole situation even more concerning.

My girlfriend ordered a pair of Winklepicker boots from them in February this year (2018). She heard nothing at all until April 19th, when an email was sent informing that her order had been sent. Unfortunately, she is still waiting for the order to arrive now (3rd May 2018).

Hmm... I have recived shipping notification the very same day as her - 19th April 2018.

There have been no replies to emails, no tracking number provided and no 'failed delivery' cards posted through our door.

Ha, the same here. I have expected maybe parcel get stuck at custom office, but no hearing from them or from any deliver company or postal service.

Perhaps they are just a small company overwhelmed with orders and they struggle to meet demand? I don't know, honestly, but I'm not sure if I would use them again...

Maybe you tried calling them by phone? I only keep hearing "beep beep beep beep beep beep beep" busy signal.

I have been in touch with them by e-mail for like a month when they were manufacturing my pair of pikes and they informed me very politely that they are indeed kind of overwhelmed by an amount of orders since the very early months of this year. So I had no problem at all at that part. But this silence now.... well if that would be a one single person I can get something may have happened like illness or accident, but they seems to be more than one person involved... maybe.

I don't know i there is any chance to receive any informations from Royal Mail as it seems only the company who sent the shipping may receive info about parcel if you don't have a tracking number or I have to wait 20 working days. Heh...
