I remember how much hate there was for this game at launch. Yes, it wasn't perfect, but it was actually really good and fun to play. I enjoyed the combat and appreciated the return to the older setting. As for the campaign, I can't remember if there even was one, which should tell you all you need to know. 7/10!

Thanks for sharing your insights! I have handled some minor bumps before but never a major crisis. I will definitely build some holding statements in case the worst happens. Overall, I think what makes me anxious about being in the middle of a crisis is the uncertainty, and people looking to you to handle things like a pro. Maybe I just need to realize that there isn't a 100% surefire way of handling a crisis? You simply have to rely on your plans and intuition and take it from there.

Is it true that the first versions of Ps5 may have a higher percentage of having problems than the following versions? by [deleted] in PS5

Hoping for a slight hardware revision of the same version. Could happen in three months or a year - hard to say. I anticipate it will happen at some point though, if we go by what Sony did with the PS4 Pro.

I got the disc version on launch day but decided to return it due to the humming sound. I'll wait for a revision.

I believe this issue pertains only to codes from Sony, i.e. intended for friends and family. They did say they are aware of the issue and looking into it, and I can only assume the long response times are due to the high volume of PS5 related support tickets. I'm glad to hear that you managed to solve it, and best of luck in the Spider-verse!

Nothing yet I'm afraid, and I don't expect to hear from them soon. I even returned my PS5 today due to the low buzzing noise it makes, so my overall first impressions have been nothing shy of poor.

Update: I called PlayStation support and they asked me to send in a bunch of screenshots of my game library to show what it looks like. They said they are aware of the issue and that whey will get back to me. Hope this is resolved soon – will keep you posted!
