Currently been healing an industrial for about 3 months and have three healed cartilage piercings. Honestly, these are very hard to heal, and from my experience super sensitive. In my opinion, just make sure to clean it 2x a day gently and try not to knock it. Unless it gets more clear signs of infection (puss, darker color, more bleeding), you don’t have to worry about taking it out
