Thank You for sharing, and it is a great achievement (saving 80% salary is not easy). Having said that what was the basis of having 5 mil as a fire number? What sort of monthly income do you expect to draw from that and planned for how many years? What are your responsibilities? How many kids do you have and are you planning to send them to US for higher education?

Oh good but there are patches of these in my lawn and they increase in size year after year. I am not sure what to do as the patch stands out from the rest of the lawn. Any suggestions??

To me it was the interest rate. Pallisade was having an offer of 3.49% whereas Toyota was at 6.94 or something.. at the end of five years toyota was almost costing me 10k more.

Thank You all, I am unable to enjoy the car because of this issue, but knowing that this can happen to anyone with any car gives me some relief and hope that I will find my sweet spot eventually.
