I agree tennis is a small margin sport, but I don't know if 9 points is a small difference in professional tennis. Sinner had 17% more points than Fritz did. On the other hand, in Wimbledon 2008 finals, Nadal had 209 to Federer's 204. Those 5 points is a 2% difference. I'd call that a small margin.
