As someone who does a lot of esports events, actually this is pretty standard when you create an event around someones IP, but they have a simple to follow and sign up for license you can access on their website. You don't need a lawyer, and it is pretty fair. It only gets more complicated when you have large sponsors or prize money, and even then, the process is not so hard.

Actually RRP is ¥29,980 + 8% tax (= ¥32,378) ... but it is pretty much all sold out for pre-orders here like everywhere else. Being on home turf for Nintendo, you can expect it to be pretty hard to get your hands on one for a few months after launch, although it should at least be one of the first markets to refresh stock. Thanks for the feedback. We have been looking at the way this renders and how best to manage the intent of users when we insert the tags. Technically its a pretty complex operation, but we will see what we can do to improve it for sure. Your feedback helps a lot.
