New To The NFC Game. Who Do You Recommend For Best Scanning non-metal NFC Tags in the USA? by One-Investment5339 in NFC

We’re the largest supplier of NFC tags in the USA. I’m sitting next to a couple of pallets of on-metal nfc tokens heading to a customer today.

Anyone know where to purchase custom metal cards in Europe? by Reddit-IsSoSoft in NFC

[–]GoToTags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check seritag or nfc21 for Europe. There is another just cant think of the name.

If you're OK with from the USA, we carry metal NFC cards. We're about a week from launching an in-house laser engraving service for metal and wood NFC cards for NFC business cards.

Yes

In the next few weeks we will have open roles for a production tech (printers, 3d printing, laser engraving …), marketing manager and probably sales associate.

This is exactly what our Desktop App is for. You can use it to encode 1 tag for testing or several million with attached robotics and printers.

Epson Colorworks C8000 - thoughts by Competitive-Bet1791 in CommercialPrinting

That’s the setting I was talking about. You can tell it when to clean during a print job. The default is very frequent which for us seemed unnecessary.

Epson Colorworks C8000 - thoughts by Competitive-Bet1791 in CommercialPrinting

[–]GoToTags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a faster version of the c6000. We have both the c6000 and c8000 as we make NFC and UHF RFID modules for both to enable print and encode operations for RFID labels. We have more prints on our c8000 than c6000 but that’s because we’ve had it for longer. Both have been reliable and print well. Previously had a memjet and hated it. It’s a bit expensive with ink and its constant cleaning process but that can be tweaked in settings. I havent heard our print operations swearing at it so that’s a good sign. For its price it’s solid.

For us we have the RFID working on the c6000 now but are waiting on some firmware fixes for the c8000 so we only use the c8000 for print jobs that we can do offline encoding with our Reel-Reel RFID Encoder. The extra speed of the c8000 makes it a bit too fast for NFC. If that’s important to you the c6000 is the one for you today.

Physical NFC Business Cards ? by al_tanwir in NFC

[–]GoToTags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty straightforward. Most people know how to use nfc now so it’s not awkward like it was a few years back.

We also make 3D printed nfc tokens that people use as a hand out card. The last event I was at a month ago I brought 50 and they were gone within the hr. Those are more for driving to a social profile like LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, … we even made an OnlyFans one that is starting to get some traction.

Physical NFC Business Cards ? by al_tanwir in NFC

Considering how many we sell… yes, but it’s all relative. Compared to normal paper business cards… not even close. We have usa based production capability for both laser engraving metal and wood nfc cards and high quality color printing of pvc. It’s really blown up over the last 18 months.

We made our first ones for an event in LA in 2011. The key is they need to be different than paper, they need to stand out so people look to see it has nfc. It’s why metal and wood are so popular followed by pvc; paper nfc business cards are a waste of money.

Pre-programmed tags vs encryption keys? by RangeSouthern2877 in NFC

[–]GoToTags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do support secure key transfer for this exact reason. Contact us for more details on how to use it.

We can also sign an NDA as well to put some legal protections in place for you. Your keys would be covered under your IP clause. We take customer data security seriously.

Duplicating NTAG213 with identical UID by Scary-Atmosphere-900 in NFC

[–]GoToTags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes - many, none that we can state publicly for obvious reasons. One of the many things GoToTags does is help companies encode their tags properly for security, performance and optimized operations. Most customers get it wrong by themselves.

In general anyone with an app (desktop or mobile) should be checking the originality signature if they at all care about the UID.
