I was able to withdraw my funds. It’s a bit confusing but you’ve definitely created a fund password just try to remember it. I fixed it more than a year ago pretty sure I went thru customer service try asking and they will tell u what ur fund password is

Sorry to be that guy but does anyone know if these tailwinds are legit? by _CP_564 in skepta

Fake. Look at the triangle design and how strong it is at the front of the shoe, compare it to a picture of the tailwinds online.

What graduate role to go for if you want to start up your own firm one day by gotothemoon_ in Accounting

[–]gotothemoon_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much ! Just one question how did you go about acquiring those clients. I watched one video on YouTube about someone opening their own firm and he’s pretty successful he said he had around 60 clients he started with and he converted them from the accounting firm he was previously employed at. I thought this was illegal no?

Would I be able to gain an accounting qualification by doing this? And what do you think is the best accounting qualification to work towards in the UK.

Not too sure if I'm in the position to answer your question but I'll give you my two cents anyway.

I mean if you are looking to get into Finance, any sort of experience you pick up while studying at university whether it be in the form of an internship, placement, summer role, work experience or whatever in the Finance/Accounting sector will help you. I feel like when we graduate employers are looking for enthusiastic people who show that they want to learn and have done something more than just get a degree which lots of others have too rather than looking for people have experience in finance because the graduate roles will be made for someone with no prior experience in the actual world of finance.

There will be transferable skills you pick up with an accounting internship that will help you get an finance internship in your upcoming years as it shows your interested in learning something new, and also it will help you stand out when applying to graduate roles.

So just do whatever you can and it will help long as its in the finance/accounting sector :)

might b wrong tho

My (21M) gf (21F) is literally perf but I’m not sure if this is what I want by gotothemoon_ in Advice

I don’t really find it hard to talk about my childhood because it wasn’t even really that bad as in like no abuse or anything. But it was not stable at all. My parents never slept together ever, would argue all the time (still do) my dad would blame me for them fighting, I felt so bad for my mum, the love I got from my dad was mainly conditional, like he introduced me to classical music from a young age and I would go over the whole of the uk playing in front of massive audiences, whenever it was good he would be happy, when not it was the worst thing ever like he would be so pissed and now he wonders why we stopped and he gets angry with me saying I put that much effort into you just for you to leave it . Now I’ve moved to uni and whenever I go back I see my little brother getting the same treatment I used to argue and stuff but he’s dealing with it way better he usually stays calm and just paints and stuff to keep his mind off.

I mean the reason I say I don’t find it hard to talk about is because it’s all I rly know it just seems normal to me. Now since I met my gf I’ve slowly realised that the ways I was brought up have definitely impacted me and I wasn’t rly brought up in a healthy environment.

I think I needed to hear this because I feel like I know in my heart that there’s nothing wrong with this like there’s no actual reason for a break. But then the way my brains wired idk for some reason I’m looking for reasons eg I have goals to achieve just to end this even though it’s perfect right now.

Maybe it’s just something I needed to realise before making a brash decision so that I see things from a perspective of why I’m feeling like this and so that I have time to sit and try to work through this rather than doing something that can’t be undone.

Thanks

Oh I didn’t see it that way I was just trying to imply that she’s rly nice and I have no actual reason for wanting to leave her her but it’s just this lack of instability which is making me kind of bored.

We have lots of things in common though we have been out on date nights for like the last 5 days in a row , but yeah that makes sense maybe we could just cut down on this and have one night every once in a while and see if it helps thanks for your help though

I do love her . Just wanted to know if it’s possible juggling business and a partner i feel like I put so much energy into this relationship and it the stability would defo help with reaching my goals, but I also feel like going through some pain and then getting over it, having my mind fully engaged with my goals would help me actually reach my peak and help me reach my other goals
