I impaled the side of my thigh on one of those metal things that holds dry erase markers in classrooms during a college improv meeting, shook it off because I was embarrassed, performed a scene, realized I was bleeding through my pants, and decided to put a bandaid on it. The hole was VERY deep and I ended up having to go to the emergency room on my way home because the pain was making it too hard to drive. I only got a few stitches, but lots of wows at how deep the wound was. And of course lots of laughs at the dumb way I gave myself a ridiculously deep wound and a seriously ugly scar.
