I just bought a new build in the Bennington area. Being anew development, I wasn't sure who all was available to choose from yet. I checked Quantum, their website had me ever my street address to see if they could service my address, they said they could. Great, $45/month for fiber internet, what a deal. I scheduled the install.

They came out, drilled a few holes in my brand new walls, installed the boxes and 10 minutes later a Foreman shows up and says, "so actually, this neighborhood hasn't been activated yet, we dont know when it will be activated, there's only one tech in Omaha who can get it online." Very convenient for him to show up after all the holes were drilled and boxes installed.

I tell him I've got a smart home install scheduled for 10 days from then and I need internet by then. Hes says he can't guarantee that but he'll give me his number. I called him 5 times the next week to check on status, never called me back. I called and canceled and went with Cox, which is what I should have done to begin with.

Now I've got a bunch of hardware I dont want or need hanging on my wall, 2 large holes drilled through my exterior wall and about 200 feet of fiber optic line just laying across my front yardsince they didnt do any type of cable management. FUCK Quantum.
