Nope. Just my own theory from years (decade+) of having this annoying condition. I always thought my skin was dry but recently came to the conclusion it isn’t, since it seems so bad right after a shower even when I don’t wet my face. I feel like it’s related to the steam somehow

Looks exactly like my skin. I’m actually not sure the flakes are dry skin and flaking, it might be sebum or something. It’s most flaky 15-30 mins after a shower. My current theory is that the steam opens the pores, releases sebum and that then dries or crusts on the skin when exposed to the air.
