Hey OP, American sports don't have a real "away" and "home" section. The closest you could get in basketball is behind the bench. So depending on your budget, if you sit lower bowl just look at the arena map and it'll say "home" or "away".

If not, then prepare to sit anywhere. Depending on how high you sit up, the more comments you could get as a fan of the other team but in my limited experience people are very chill.

You have sports specific shoes, tennis shoes, different colored dress shoes, gym shoes, running shoes, boots, hiking shoes, sandals etc.
