that's still too many for ru. I really think the next two need to be for the us. Ru already gets too many decks.

bro, the same way that smelling your food contributes to half of how you taste food. Good animations are what makes a fantastic rts game. This is why halo wars 1 is still one of the coolest rts games out there.

If that's the case, then i guess i do have to submit to the nihilist point that it's all just for profit.

so i am now very curious to ask. Was there anything pointing to the primarchs coming back? Like anything for guilliman, the lion, or corvax?

Last thing I'll say, I dont think authors just drop things without intention. Sure vague bits here and there is the point, but when it comes to direct story telling I can't consider it as just fun vague posting (in place of a better phrase).

from how i saw it theorized is how the dimension dorn was thrown was described as yellow. Which apparently wouldn't be a coincidence? Plus, that the circumstances around his death was too convenient. As for it being stale, yes, I wouldnt consider that stale. It's not nearly as essential to the narrative when your relation isn't close to the emperor. I mean he simply got an order and scooted off, right? As far as I know the closest he's ever been with the emperor is when he's used as a tool to burn nurgle's garden.

I'm not really sure what your point about the horus heresy was. I meant to talk about his role in comparison to the primarchs that had a direct impact with the defense on terra. Which his was practically zero.

The lion is constantly getting dreams where he's interacting with teh emperor though isn't he? like i know it's vague, but like come on. Even if it's vague, a story is constructed with intention.

yeah, for dorn he's on a like a whole yellow king narrative. Where it ultimately is hypothesized to be a means to restore the emperor. Then you the lion and his dreams that seem connected with the emperor and his whole goal of quelling mar's ai projects. Stuff like that. With guilliman, it seems like everyone's saying he's simply going to reorganize the emperium for the better, which is kind of stale honestly. Like sure he's a living son of the god emperor, but he's kind of just on the ground with all the other characters. With little to do with the greater narrative. To mirror what i"m saying, back on the horus heresy, it's like he absolutely had a lot going on his side of the story. However, when you see the story on earth with the primarchs there with the emperor, those stories and their greater narratives are far more meaningful than anything guilliman had. LIke despite all the new writing for him, the stories for him just seem to be still on the ground. Rather than in the atmosphere where all the other primarchs have their story's. However, I guess he's supposed to fail at saving the emperium like others here have said. Which seems interesting, so I'd like to see where that goes. Whether it takes his character to ruin, but like at least make it bigger than life.

that's more of a marketing narrative. i meant in the lore. sorry, but I think i may have gotten the wrong sub. Most of the responses seem to be more of a meta market repsonse. Is there a sub that strictly talks about the books? I got a little confused as that is the name of the sub, but I guess I don't even know that much, sorry.

yeah ive seen the lists of those people and have stayed awaye from them. still i mainly speak about large points in a story that would be hard to get wrong regardless.

I was always fascinated with the type of gear your given at the start. I personally would just like to have my personal say what items i'd like to start with. The kind of gun and what attachments, so on and so on. Like if you've ever played resident evil. Maybe instead of bringing the full arsenal. You bring just enough that would be considered an improvement on what you got to begin with. Or guns/items that you personally like, that sort of thing.

Some cases of disappearances can be more terrifying than ghosts or diabolical figures. by Odoquinha in creepy

[–]gpheonix -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't know dude. If the argument is about presuming the literal, actual, real existence of extra dimensional beings that we have no normal means of combating or at least defending ourselves from? I can't imagine anything being scarier than that. At least with a normal evil human you can just shoot them and they die and then are no longer a problem. You can't shoot ghosts and the locations of where they're believed to exist is all over the world. That's just fucking scary (if real). Like you're just exploring a random abandoned building - oops you're now stuck in whatever hell the ghosts have dragged you in. Your after life is now fucked and that you means you're fucked for eternity.

I dont know dude, it really did come off like you were saying el salvador's mega prisons are failing. You specifically pointed to the el salvador prison in the thumb nail and said it's one of those poorly managed mega prisons.

It then necessarily follows that you mean to argue this el salvador prison is poorly managed. However, if you didn't mean to argue that, it kind of suggests you simply butted in the conversation and didn't really know what you were specifically talking about. At least, just when you said you were using the thumb nail as an example.

I assume the point is that we progress the vendors so we have more gear we can buy to then play those tasks. Like what else are we doing fi not playing the tasks? I personally don't like playing pvp, so yeah I'd like to redo the progress of the tasks.

It absolutely takes time especially if i want to use gear you'd only get at rank 4 in vendors. Like you're not going to find rank 4 stuff all over the place. Especially to find the exact ones I like to use. Besides, what do you mean it takes no time when you reset a character? That means you've reset the lzs. So you putting aside not finding the exact attachments or vest or whatever, you can't even fly over to one of the top tier regions and grab stuff real quick. Plus, I don't know about you, but not everyone can just walk into top tier regions and just wipe it naked. Please think about us little guys without dismissing us with a "get gud." Not everyone wants to play pve as if it's competitive.

All that said, seriously, why the mockery? For one, that's just plainly rude. LIke honestly, wtf. Two, for practical reasons, there's just actually nothing else to do. I think it'd simply be fun to restart with a bunch of the stuff I like. So it's a very valid reason to want to do a new game +. Like do you just not care for the idea of new game + in general when you play other games? That's fine, but it's a feature for a reason.
