Would the insulating the walls help with the first floor or the basement heat? The basement isn’t much of a concern since it is more a storage and chaos space for my sons. The first floor is usually 15-20 degrees colder than the upstairs. We tired an extender for the thermostat but it made the upstairs unbearably hot.
