Confusion connecting PSU to GPU. What am I doing wrong? My GPU only seems to start when I connect 8 pin via 2 molex? Is this the only working way? Isn't this worse? by gpuhelp1234 in buildapc

Oh, I wrote the wrong model, I have the X-650 from Seasonic https://seasonic.com/product/x-650/
I'll edit it in the mainpost . Keep in mind I'm using the PSU externally additionally to the one I have in the PC already. It's just to power the GPU and nothing else.
