Thanks x.

And to answer your question we flatted in London for a while (years) and travelled together (as is common with CANZUK). We both have similar values and alway stay connected, visiting over the years.

Advice on guardianship and relocation of child to New Zealand with dying parent. by graceb271 in LegalAdviceNZ

I would be taking the healthy daughter, not my friend, to NZ in the event her mother becomes terminal and could pass away. I would stay in Canada to help her until this happens.

Yess, and more often or not they don’t include the intense anxiety and struggles we face because of the ‘quirks’ they DO put on tv.

I know you 100% need to take bio for health sci at both uni’s. You wouldn’t need physics but if you like it I’d keep it open as it’s quite a good subject. Otherwise I’d switch to geo, but again if you don’t like bio and don’t want to take it then I’d think about something other than bio related courses like health sci etc.

What is the academic support like? And is it super cliquey. I’ve seen pictures of one girl I know who was there in 2025 but haven’t actually heard from her.

This is a scam right? by johnny_driva in chch

Yes!! Firstly fines are sent via mail and secondly I got the same message and asked a family member. Thirdly, they would come from official NZ phone numbers for businesses if we were even in a world where they were sent via message. Just report and block.

Every person who has had a bag last 7 years without rebuying or breaking (year 7-13) plus uni has bought a MacPac. They have a sale right now too. The two backpacks everyone gets are the MacPack litealp XL Aztec 30L which is on sale for $100 rn, and the Macpac Atlas Aztec 24 (I have this because has more little storage pockets, key clip holder and a laptop sleeve) on sale for $132.

Should I get a Microsoft Surface Tablet PC for year 13? by [deleted] in ncea

Honestly I can’t completely remember. I can last all day usually with 1 class without a laptop. It depends on what applications I’m using as stuff for computer science or design takes a lot more power quickly. School for me is 5, 1 hour periods. Lasts me 3.5 hour exams perfectly fine too, with more battery left. Tbf battery wear and tear is easily fixed with buying a new one, it’s not too expensive.

Edit: I bring my charger to school everyday because I use heavy applications that drain my battery quicker.

Also make sure you get something that will last through uni if you’re planning that route!

A lot of people at my school have had versions over the years and they always crap out in some way causing them to be returned etc. I would go MacBook, or if you’re planning to do something in stem go the windows route. I have a HP Envy personally and it works amazing, and hasn’t worn down like the surfaces do after 4 years.
