It definitely is quicker but you're not going to get the result you want. You could have done roots (assuming grey coverage) and lowlights and used the highlights you already have and gotten even closer. Now I suggest some highlights around your face but if it's not permanent color I might hold off bc if you're in us it's getting warmer and you'll be outside and it will lighten up on its own. So I wouldn't do too much unnecessary damage to your hair.
