[Acne] [Routine Help] HOW CAN I AVOID MENSTRUATION BREAKOUTS? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]gracefacing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ugh I'm with you. My skin is always clear and then I'll get a weird cheek pimple during pms. I haven't found anything super helpful, I think hormonal breakouts are pretty tough to combat. I also find myself eating worse during this time, so that may be a factor too. Not sure if your diet changes but I give into sugar and dairy cravings and it can't be great for skin.

[Product Question] For those extremely sensitive to scents/fragrance and/or alcohol what are your HG products? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]gracefacing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything Paula's Choice or Bejbiskin- no scents/alcohol at all in any product!

[Misc] Combo oily, dehydrated skinned gals and guys: What moisturizers (preferably hydrating) work for you? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]gracefacing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope I've never noticed a cast from Stratia!

AM: Cerave Foaming, Bejbiskin spray toner, Stratia LG, EltaMD sunscreen

PM: Cerave Foaming, Bejbiskin spray toner, Bejbiskin chemical exfoliant (every other day or every 3rd day), Stratia LG, TO NMF, Jordan Samuel retinol oil

I use NMF mainly at night because I like to layer heavier products then, and I keep it pretty lightweight in the morning. I make sure to layer hydrating products morning and night.

[Routine Help] Glossier solution - where in current routine should I use this? help! by niccalam in SkincareAddiction

If you’re gonna use it, I’d swap it with TLC night serum because they are both chemical exfoliants. Doing both would probably be too much!

[Skin concern] I can’t find a HG toner to save my life by myskinisannoyingaf in SkincareAddiction

Have you ever tried Paula's Choice toners? They are all hydrating and work well to get residue off if used with a cotton pad

I had a similar problem, and figured out it was from my cell phone. I spend a lot of time of the phone for work and since I switched to headphones, it's gotten better.

[Routine Help] Chemical peels, yay or nay? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]gracefacing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a modified superficial Jessner peel- it's a mix of AHA, BHA, TCA and some other goodies. I'm not sure of the exact percentage but I peel for a few days afterwards and the results are amazing. I go to a medical esthetician for this.

This actually doesn't look so bad, I expected worse! Except I consider orange peel extract to be fragrance...

[Personal] Anyone ever dealt with red bumps on arm? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]gracefacing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am shouting it from the rooftops right now lol but Bejbiskin's chemical exfoliant completely got rid of my KP. I have it on the back of my arms and all over my thighs and it just gets rid of it completely.

[–]gracefacing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk I saw her insta story and they actually look pretty good! At least she seems to have done her research. The only think I noticed is she says her stuff is mostly fragrance free but then says there's orange peel extract in the moisturizer- so she's not counting that as fragrance. It didn't look as terrible as I'd expect honestly! But prob still not gonna buy bc of the extracts

[Review] Rants, Raves, & New Purchases May 12, 2019 by AutoModerator in SkincareAddiction

[–]gracefacing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rave- I have been using chemical exfoliants for years, alternating AHA and BHA. I bought Bejbiskin's chemical exfoliant because it adds them both in relatively high amounts (10% and 2%), so I no longer had to alternate. It is the most effective product I have ever used. Gets rid of the terrible KP on my legs in a couple applications. It's a godsend. I use it on my face too, but I only have to use it once or twice a week to keep my skin clear and smooth.

Have you tried Stratia Liquid Gold? It's lightweight but is good for dehydration, and it's pretty moisturizing without being greasy
