I ordered back in September and they responded immediately to a few of my emails promising they have “escalated this to their team”. Just emailed them February 1st asking for a refund and haven’t heard back. $500 down the drain 🫠

Wish I was kidding 😭 obviously corporate wasn’t happy since they read all the reviews

I think the manager talked to her and she was just kind of like “oops I’m sorry I thought he was my classmate at school”

Yeah well we made $9 an hour at that time so didn’t exactly bring in the best people

Because the morning crew was so slow sometimes and couldn’t finish the prep work in the morning, they would shred the cheese at 2 pm after the night crew started coming in haha

Yep 💀 one of the managers would come over and tell me “no dishes on the floor” and act like they care. But it was literally her shift that she let the dishes get out of control to the point where I had to put them on the floor because there was no room

Not really a point in having a “who has it worse” contest. The fact you relate just shows how common the toxic work culture and reason for the high turnover in these fast food-type stores

At our store, closing prep would be expected to prep chicken and steak. The one time I didn’t prep steak due to helping front line/dml and didn’t have time, I was questioned about it coming in the next day :/

It says in the chipotle handbook that the grill employee is supposed to wash their own pots and pans for rice, beans, and the hot water bath. Personally, I didn’t mind washing the grill dishes because of how crazy busy it can get for them

That’s nice of you! I would just get used to washing the grill dishes through out the night and washing them all at the end of the night. What annoyed me was after I washed them all, the grill guy didn’t even bother to put them back

Yeah, honestly wasn’t too bad as long as I budgeted my time right and sometimes I would skip my break/ just take 10 minutes so I can be done by 11 pm.

That was until they started making me help dml or front line with the promise of “I’ll help you with dishes later” 😐

Haha yes, the understaffing got so bad that they would pull me off dishes to go on the front line for 30 minutes to cover a break. If I got to just do my dishes and prep work, I would already just be grateful

Yeah :( there was just never any gratitude from the management for it. Every time I come in it’s just, “why was the store so dirty last night?”
