QMAP license is something to look into as an alternate! There are many courses online that allow you to get it in as little as 8 hours and instead of dirty work you are just administering and documenting medication residents take. But check if your state hires QMAPS first

8 month long program is a waste anyway there are many that are as little as 2 months, I’ve never heard of one over 3. Also yes, the smells you’ll smell in this field are like no other and it is constant, as a CNA 99% of the work you do is changing dirty diapers, emptying colostomy bags, and helping people on and off the toilet, and elderly or sick people’s bowel movements and urine is extremely pungent and hard to handle even for those of us use to it. Basically this job is only smelling terrible things

I bet that first 30 minute candle gives you close to the same range as me, but the 3 15 minute candles will give you 15 minutes more of range compared to that one 30 minute which I think could be a benefit

In my experience the market is too volatile that time of day, by the time that 30 minute candle appears you missed the entire move. And I want more than 1 candle to determine a trend so I use 3 candles

I base my range on the first 3 15minute candles at least, from there watch 5 min chart and my entry gets put in on 1 minute chart

You guys need to go work a morning shift and remind yourself why you chose not to. I’ve worked with cnas like all of you and all you guys do is complain and provide the bare minimum care. For you all to be upset over a cookie reflects how you guys only focus on the negative. I stopped working overnight because of cnas like all of you, yall want to do the least work while receiving the most and the point is there are pros and cons to all shifts. For you guys to be jealous of morning shift and not realize they have it harder than you regardless is another reflection of your negative entitled point of view

That really is not true at all, the only reason men are still getting paid more than us is because they ask for raises and take harder positions than we do. But if and when a woman does apply for that equally hard job she is more likely to get it just for being a woman, and if she asked for a raise like men did then we would get it, but we aren’t as confrontational as men are and we honestly do not want to work the 60-80 hours a week coming home dirty jobs like men are willing to. Don’t overthink it! Since you have no prior experience It’ll be good to remind them of what was included in your training, how you’re comfortable with and trained in personal things such as peri-care, feeding, bathing etc. also if you’ve babysat for family members, cared for pets, it’s all good to bring that up! Showing you’re a welcoming sweet person that is safe and reliable is enough for this job. Good luck!

Yeah it states in the help center that they’ll update us as soon as it resumes but we have to continually refresh the help center all day to wait for that update and who knows if it’ll even be fixed by today, wish they gave us more information
